Ahhhh, the Nothington Post... This is our new blog.  There will be very little serious business conducted here, but hopefully we will be able to share some non relevant thoughts and stories here for your entertainment or more likely for ours.  For serious business and announcements about the band, please refer to the "News" section of www.nothingtonsf.com for details or facebook.com/nothington for short attention span friendly bursts of information.

This is the place that had we been on top of our shit, we would have told you about entertaining moments of our last tour, which happened to be wonderful because it was with our friends Cobra Skulls and Lagwagon.  

For example, this is what happens when you try to share a large bottle of Jameson with the 7 foot tall "Flip" of Lagwagon.  The photo above was taken just before Lagwagon started their set in Oakland CA around 10pm.

After our second night of tour, that bottle was not to be left out of sight of the wagon crew, not just because of Nothington, but also because of the WeezSkulls as well... It seemed to be drinking itself and disappearing at an alarming rate.  After that night it went on stage with them, and came back off whenever the dressing rooms were shared by all the bands.  Now that is a lesson learned!  Apparently this was not Lagwagon's first rodeo.  Smart guys.  Nice guys too... Smart guys again.

Other than this little nugget of mildly funny banter, nothing really noteworthy happened on this trip that I can recall.  Sorry.  But the blog is officially up and running now.  What can I say?  It was really fun, the shows were good, no vans broke down, nothing got stolen, and no one got arrested... Europe is in less than a month though.  Tune in again - same Bat whenever I feel like writing something, same Bat place.
